Trip complete!

Late last week I visited Shelby for her college graduation! It was a really fun but very busy trip. I got in late Wednesday night, and spent most of Thursday sleeping while Shelby getting school stuff done before graduation. Friday, I tagged along while Shelby got more school stuff done and said goodbye to people.

Saturday was the day of the actual ceremony, which we all almost sorta overslept for... Then we packed up Shelby's stuff and moved from the dorms to Shelby's house. Then there was not one, but TWO parties! We were there for Shelby's graduation, her cousin's graduation, as well as an early Christmas party. It was a lot of fun, but yeah, there was barely a chance to rest.

Finally got around to playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and multiplayer! It was such a blast!!

Sunday was a bit calmer. We got to check out Shelby's grandmother's immense doll and model house collection... And finally got to watch Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows!

My flight home today wasn't until the afternoon, so we had a chance to finally play more games this morning. Got to show Shelby some Zelda: Skyward Sword, as well as hook up the Kinect. Kinect is really tons of fun with other people! Kinect Adventures, Child of Eden, and... man, Dance Central 2 was really tons of fun!

So we didn't get a chance to play ALL the games we planned to, or most of the movies we planned to, but it was still a super fun time. And it was really a special event to finally see Shelby graduate after ALL THESE YEARS. It was a big event!

Congrats to Shelby! The whole thing sounds hectic, but fun. :)

And way to go on Mario; that's still one of my favorites, even though I haven't done everything in it yet-- maybe that's why it's still up there. We'll have to play together sometime, if we can just get together for it.

Looking forward to seeing the next Sherlock Holmes-- does it work if you haven't seen the first? I have, but Nadia has not.

Glad everything went well; what's her next move now?

Haha, yeah, that's it in a nutshell! Hectic, but fun

I think Shelby will be trying to find a part-time job or something in the immediate future, but she wants to try to go for a graduate degree soon once she figures out where to go.

Yeah, I'd really love to do multiplayer Mario again!! As for Sherlock Holmes, I think it should be no problem watching the second one without having seen the first. I'd still say it's better to have seen the first movie, but it's a minor thing.
